Projektbeschreibung
The project aims at strengthening the collaborative link between two research groups at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany (PI Arthur Straube, theory) and the University of Barcelona, Spain (PI Pietro Tierno, experiment). The groups use their complementary expertise to explore both experimentally and theoretically the dynamics, assembly and interactions of collection of micro- and nano-sized paramagnetic particles dispersed in water and deposited above magnetic structured substrates (Garnet Films) subject to external magnetic modulations. Different dynamical regimes are addressed by varying such control parameters as frequency, strength and direction of the driving field.
