The International Office of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and HUWISU (Humboldt-Universität Winter- und Sommeruniversität) are hosting the fourth international winter university from January 7th to 25th 2013.

The interdisciplinary courses are held in English and will give students the possibility of looking into different academic disciplines. University lecturers teaching law and ethics, for example, will offer a course on “Medical Ethics and the Law”, presenting their own rich experience and giving an insight into this heavily debated topic.

The HUWISU programme offers a wide spectrum of course topics. On top, students will have the possibility of combining the academic seminars with language courses. During their stay in Berlin, participants will be able to either just “get a taste of” the German language or enhance their existing language skills. Experienced tutors will furthermore host a varied cultural and leisure programme.

The HUWISU winter programme is aimed at Bachelor students from abroad. During the course work in Berlin, students will be able to gain ECTS points that will be accredited at their home university. Applications may be handed in until December 3rd 2012.
