The physicist Erwin Schrödinger is considered one of the founders of quantum mechanics and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933. The Erwin Schrödinger Center named after him is considered the centerpiece of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Campus in Adlershof. A few years ago, allegations of abuse against the physicist became public, which also caused a stir and debate at HU. Now all Humboldtians are invited to discuss whether Schrödinger is still acceptable as the namesake of an important building at the university.

The event will take place on February 5 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in English and German as part of the "HU in Dialogue" event series and in a World Café format. Those who wish can also participate digitally in a survey on the topic in the HU app "Sciencely". The app can be downloaded free of charge from all popular app stores.
