Excellent research

Humboldt-Universität's research strength is based on the broad spectrum of disciplines represented by its professors and other academics. The research profile is characterised by the outstanding achievements of its researchers, research in the faculties and institutes and externally funded research projects. These also characterise the development of new scientific fields at the interfaces of research in various disciplines. For its research, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin utilises the opportunities offered by the Berlin-Brandenburg science location for intensive cooperation with numerous non-university research institutions and is well networked both nationally and internationally.
