It enables the efficient use of scientific resources and facilitates cross-institutional access to devices. In the long term, OpenIRIS aims to serve as the central hub at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for targeted searches of instruments, easing cross-institutional access to equipment and thereby strengthening research networking on campus.
Further information about OpenIRIS and its current implementation status at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin can be found on the Intranet.
