Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Facilities

In August 1998, the computer scientists pioneered the relocation of parts of Humboldt-Universität to Adlershof. The mathematicians, chemists, physicists, geographers and psychologists soon followed. The relocation of the natural sciences to state-of-the-art buildings was completed by autumn 2003. The campus’ location at the heart of Berlin Adlershof – the ‘City of Science, Business and Media’ – is convenient for maintaining a range of partnerships with the non-university research institutions and companies also based here.
