Humboldt-Universität is one of 21 founding members of the Global University Academy (GUA). The new international network aims to provide refugees around the world with access to academic education.

Research

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has extended its funding for FAIRmat, the consortium of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) based at HU. In this phase, FAIRmat is placing greater emphasis on AI for data-driven science.

Researchers at HU have developed a new method for trapping and controlling atoms. This has significantly improved the atoms’ ability to store quantum information – an important step forward for future quantum technologies.
