What kind of assistance can our counselling service give you?
We offer counselling in decision making, e.g. concerning the choice of a course and problems emerging in the student's work if a change of the subject or dropping out is being considered, or in organizing their studies.
It is important in the process of counselling not only to find and assess all the necessary information. In many cases it is vital to consider the student's general situation, define clearly his or her own ideas, plans and motives, find out the reasons for ill-judged decisions in the past or for existing problems in order to develop a new orientation as to how to go on, look for suitable contacts, and adopt appropriate personal strategies for decision making and for the realization of decisions made.
Counselling is confidential, personalized, open-ended and free of charge. There is no relationship of dependence between the person who seeks advice and the adviser.
