Governing Bodies' Office

The Governing Bodies' Office as part of the President's office of Humboldt-Universität has responsibility for the functioning of the central decision-making bodies (boards) of the University. The terms of reference of the Office include:

  • preparing and organising the meetings of the decision-making bodies, recording the proceedings and performing the administrative work resulting from the meetings;
  • advising the members of governing boards and committees as well as faculties and other institutions of the University in matters concerning the work of the decision-making bodies;
  • giving administrative support to those commissions, panels and work groups of the central decision-making bodies of the University which are not assigned to a Vice-President’s area of responsibility;
  • organising and supervising the staffing of the standing commissions of the central decision-making bodies.
