With the Alexander von Humboldt Professorships, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation sponsors top international appointments at German universities. The HU has so far been able to acquire four AvH professorships. Link
Einstein Foundation Berlin
Through the Einstein Foundation Berlin, the state of Berlin funds research at the four Berlin universities and Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin in order to provide targeted support for Berlin as a center of science.
