Hannoversche Straße 6
The former Forensic Medicine building at Hannoversche Straße 6 is the representative seat of the Cluster of Excellence ‘Topoi – Formation and Transformation of Space and Knowledge in Ancient Civilizations’, which investigates ancient ideas and knowledge of space and their resulting impact on the cultural development of ancient societies.

This includes research into perceptions of space among the Greeks and Romans, as well as the civilisations of the Middle East, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea in the period from 6,000 BC to 500 AD.
