Department of Biology

The subject areas within the Department of Biology that are currently fragmented are due to be united on the core zone of Campus Nord, where a new research building is under construction. The Rhoda Erdmann House, also known as the ‘Green Amoeba’, is due to open in 2016. This focus will enable Biology to achieve even more intensive collaboration and strengthen its links with neighbouring cooperation partners.
