With the exception of the Department of Japanese Studies, which is located on Johannisstraße, all sections including the library are housed in a renovated factory building on Invalidenstraße. The Department gains its international flair from students and teachers from all over the world, as well as from significant opportunities for exchange and cooperation in teaching and research with partners in the regions being studied.
