Campus-Card - FAQ
-
1. How do I get my Campus-Card?
First of all, you will need a personal QR code, which you can obtain in AGNES via the “Student ID” menu option. Either print the QR code out or call it up on your tablet or smartphone screen and scan it on one of the terminals in order to create your Campus-Card. Afterwards, using a validation terminal, you will need to validate your Campus-Card. This last step must be repeated every semester.

2. My AGNES password does not work.
Please make sure that you have entered the correct user details. If there is still a problem, please contact the Computer and Media Service user helpdesk (https://www.cms.hu-berlin.de/de/dl/beratung).
-
3. I can’t change my HU-account password.
If you have problems changing or reactivating your password, please contact the Computer and Media Service user helpdesk (https://www.cms.hu-berlin.de/de/dl/beratung).

4. Where do I get the QR code?
You will receive your personal QR code after registering in AGNES under the menu item "Student ID". You will find the link to the QR code below in the text.
If you already have a Campus-Card, then you will not need a new QR code. In this case, before each new semester begins, simply extend the validity of your Campus-Card at one of the terminals.

No, this is not possible. You will receive your personal QR code as soon as you have registered via the “Student ID” menu option in AGNES.

As long as you do not urgently require your student ID, the Campus-Card can be created later.
-
10. Can somebody else create the Campus-Card for me?
You can authorize another person to create it, but be aware that there will be no photograph of you on it. Before the authorized person creates your Campus-Card, you must give them a valid QR code.

11. I have not received a Campus-Card and I urgently need a semester ticket and student ID.
You must create the Campus-Card yourself on one of the purpose-made terminals. Follow the steps outlined in question 1.

Paper ID cards are no longer issued. If you do not have time, you can authorize somebody to create a Campus-Card for you, but please be aware of the information given in question 10. For an authorized person to create the Campus-Card for you, they must follow the steps outlined in question 1.

16. I have a problem with my Campus-Card. It can not be read neither in the canteen nor in the library. What can I do?
If the card is broken, a new QR code must be created by the Enrollment Office.
