Modeling and transfer of content and quality criteria for program planning in financial education in adulthood

MoTIf focuses on the practice of offering and planning financial education in adulthood. It addresses the key challenges of program planning in the context of the financial education strategy: reaching addressees and target groups, qualifying teaching staff, providing educational programs that are ethically and scientifically supported, and better preparing the population for financial and economic action. To this end, MoTIf aims to model and transfer content and quality criteria for program planning in financial education in adulthood. MoTIf explores the current status and models expanded professional knowledge (program planners, institutions), as well as management knowledge (politicians, associations) - including in the form of criteria grids. With the expertise and reach of two universities, three adult education associations (federal and state level, adult education center, Protestant and Catholic adult education) and a learning region, qualitative and quantitative surveys, the expansion of the database from the previous project ÖkonoBi_EBWB_Pro, workshops, product clinics and project result-based training courses plus further dissemination activities build on one another. In 30 months, divided into two project phases, basic research and participatory applied research are combined and implemented with educational practice in different settings. Products and findings are (further) developed and disseminated in a process-oriented manner.
