News from the alumni network

International

The International network "The Impact of Islam on Christian Political Theology (622-1453)" at the Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities examines how Christians engaged with Muslims in various theological discourses.

A group of students from the Department of Asian and African Studies has travelled to Indonesia, specifically to the islands of Java and Kalimantan. They have documented their two-week intercultural academic experience.

In November, Circle U. students met in Louvain-la-Neuve and simulated a meeting of EU environment ministers on the topic of ‘The EU at COP-30’. A visit to the European Commission in Brussels was another highlight of the seminar.

The Berlin University Alliance and the University of Oxford have presented key objectives of their partnership to German Federal President Steinmeier in Oxford, with a particular focus on promoting young researchers.
