The Communication, Marketing and Event Management department provides up-to-date information, organises central events, supports journalists and makes the university's projects and successes visible.

Management

Communication and Media Unit (A)

The Department of Communication and Media is responsible for the planning, conceptualisation, management and implementation of central communication measures at Humboldt-Universität. Support and advice is provided in the organisation of online and social media communication, internal communication and press relations. The aim is to make the excellence of Humboldt-Universität's research and teaching visible externally and to promote transparency and employee participation in the management and development of the entire university through internal communication.

Marketing and Fundraising Unit (B)

The Marketing and Fundraising Department is responsible for marketing, corporate design and layout, fundraising and the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. The marketing activities serve to position and communicate the "Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin" brand and convey a consistent image. Fundraising is used to attract private supporters who contribute to the further development of the university and the promotion of young academics. The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship, which supports committed students, plays a special role here.

Event Management Department (C)

The department is responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of central university events. Humboldt-Universität employees can find information and support for decentralised events on the intranet. For external enquiries, please contact the event service of Humboldt-Innovation GmbH.
