Project description
The quantum dynamics of single spins is studied in charged quantum dots. Aim of the studies is the potential application for spin-related quantum computing and the possibility to manipulate spin states optically. The studies are carried out on tailored CdSe/ZnSe- and ZnCdO/ZnO quantum dots grown by molecular beam epitaxy.
