SFB 649 I: Financial and Economic Data Centre (FEDC) (TP D)

<p>The FEDC forms the foundation for the empirical and computer supported (numeric) theoretical research of the SFB649. It will be the SFB's internal place of exchange, software and numeric algorithms as well as hosting the discussion papers. It will be open to other DFG-financed (German Research Foundation) research projects.</p>
<p>The goal is the creation of a communication network concentrated on the empirical risk research and economy research for data and algorithms between physically separated research groups. The FEDC fulfills therewith a pioneering role in the conversion of the recommendation of the science council in order to strengthen empirical economic research in Germany.</p>
