Ways into psychological counselling at HU for HU students
  • You can easily find and book a suitable date yourself via the online tool Doctena.
  • You can send an e-mail as well. Please use the contact form.
  • You can arrange an appointment personally via phone or during office hours (see below) (not possible at the moment).
We are a neutral counselling service at HU
Our counselling service is free of charge, we are not a practice but an independent, neutral counselling service. As the booking system Doctena has bee developed for doctors, you will find our locations listed as practices anyway.
Privacy Policy
Doctena follows the EU-DSGVO guidelines. However, if you want to remain anonymous please inform us about this when contacting us during office hours or via email.

The procedure of booking an appointment online
  • You are required to have an e-mail-adress and a mobile phone number
  • Choose who you want to have the counselling session with. For a counselling session in English choose Frau Stankjawitschjute.
  • Choose „Grund für Ihren Besuch“ meaning the reason for making the appointment. This provides us with just a rough orientiation.
  • You will now see free dates for the next 3 weeks (max). Find a suitable date or choose another person to see if there are more suitable dates.
  • Enter your personal Data. Note: It is not necessary to register on Doctena even if it is suggested that this would offer a more easy process. We do not need any information about your health insurance as our service is not covered by your health insurnace but free of charge for all HU-students. As Doctena was created for doctors they still require you to choose an option concerning the health insurance. You can just choose anything
  • You will receive a message on your phone containing a TAN to confirm your appointment
  • You will receive a final confirmation via e-mail. Only this confirmation means that the session will really take place. Note: Please plan an hour’s time for the session.

Note: The sessions are currently only offered online via Zoom. You will receive an extra e-mail with the link for the Zoom-Meeting (please also check your spam-mails). Privacy at Zoom is guaranteed.

Please note: Counselling sessions in English are available from Nov., 14th, again.
