In the third part of our seminar series, 'Navigating the German Job Market,' we focus on equipping you with the skills and insights needed to excel in job interviews and smoothly transition into your new role through effective onboarding.
Topics covered in this seminar include:
- Structuring and Conducting Job Interviews: Gain a deeper understanding of what employers seek to assess during the interview process, including soft skills and personal fit in contrast to written qualifications, which focus more on formal compatibility.
- The Significance of Self-Presentation: Learn the importance of presenting yourself effectively during interviews. We will discuss strategies for making a positive first impression and demonstrating your value as a candidate.
- Common Interview Questions and What They Reveal: Delve into typical interview questions and uncover the underlying intentions behind them. Discover effective response strategies, including the STAR method, to help you provide comprehensive and compelling answers.
- Tips for Successful Onboarding: Prepare for a seamless transition into your new role with valuable insights on the onboarding process. Learn how to adapt quickly to your new work environment, build sustainable relationships with colleagues, and make a positive impact from day one.
By the end of this seminar, you will be aware of possible obstacles in tha application process and onboarding. You will be well-prepared to excel in job interviews and smoothly integrate into your new workplace during the onboarding process.
