SFB 647/1-3: Almost One-Dimensional Systems, Spectral Analysis and Evolution Equations (TP B 01/C07)

In this project, almost one-dimensional systems are viewed as generalizations of one-dimensional systems which are governed by ordinary differential equations; they occur as "small" parts of a general system and, in particular, in the formation of singularities. The project aims at a thorough study of such systems encompassing their spectral theory, their gluing properties, and their deformations and resolutions.
